Staged in the Ideas Room, at Inductin, where we record most of our podcasts, we discussed technology in Pakistan. The question was, how far has Pakistan progressed when it came to technology? We are significantly farther ahead than many countries. However, that description is quite vague. In what aspects are we really better than any country? Could we quantify?
To answer that, we had a conversation with our own UK marinated Zeeshan Qureshi. An entrepreneur and trainer from USA, Turab Asghar Gilani and a software engineer from UAE Bilal Hassan. To put them all together, with some sprinkling of travel, but significantly Pakistani, Adi Abdurab (yours truly). The agenda was originally to discuss just how much access does Pakistan have compared to the rest of the world. In some applications, it seems Pakistan is on-par, perhaps even ahead of some countries – better than some developed countries in a handful of cases – while woefully behind in others.
As the podcast continued, Bilal Hassan and Zeeshan joined in and we touched on all the pain points alleviated by technology that the country has yet to experience.
